16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence Campaign

On Monday, December 6, 2010 I am honored to be speaking at the "16 Days of Activism" event at Coastal Carolina University.  If you are in the area I hope that you will join us!

The 16 Days Campaign was initiated in 1991 at the first Women’s Global Leadership Institute at Rutgers University, N.J., and has since grown internationally to raise awareness about violence against women, a human rights violation. The campaign traditionally begins Nov. 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and ends Dec. 10, Human Rights Day.
