Memo "Press Conference": Governor Brad Henry, US Attorney Eric Holder, Attorney General WA Drew Edmondson, CNN Chief Edith Chapin and Bill O'Reilly

RE: Oklahoma Cold Cases

Governor Brad Henry thank you for signing into law HB 3294.

In my opinion, for this new law to be effective Attorney General WA Drew Edmondson, United States Attorney Eric Holder and the FBI must begin working towards removing the "good old boy brand" of justice in numerous counties within the State of Oklahoma where corruption runs deep, more like a tsunami for families waiting 2,3,4,6,7,8,9, an 10 years to have deaths certificates changed from suicide to homicide and cold cases of intimate partner homicide opened based on new information and in my opinion new evidence.

The reason I am asking for your asistance is because I am now in the State of Oklahoma. And frankly, I am a bit uncomfortable here knowing there is an alleged price tag on my life as I am working with the families of Chandra Turner, Sheila Deviney, Lance Edwards and Tom Horton. Each of these cases smell foul with prosecutors and law enforcement refusing to investigate and charge the person(s) responsible for each of these homicides.

PRESS Conference

Date: October 15, 2010
Time: 2:00 PM Central
Place: Law Offices of Jaye Mendros

ADDRESS: 3033 N.W. 63rd Street, Suite E-105

Statement from Garvin County Prosecutors office released just yesterday:

Mr. Mashburn's office has officially declined to meet with Susan Murphy-Milano stating that it would be 'inappropriate' to do so further stating that she had "nothing else to offer them" regarding the Garvin County Murder cases. They also cited scheduling issues as a secondary factor. This indicates that the Sheriff will thus decline as well as he stated he would only meet with Susan in Mashburn's office.--SK 4:20 pm 10/13

I direct everyone for more details on these cases on todays Women and Crime site: http://womenincrimeink.blogspot.com/2010/10/no-justice-in-oklahoma.html

I think Mashburn should hold true to his position and serve the public that elected him. Chandra's death was very suspicious as we all know.It was not suicide and to many unanswered question remain unanswerd. Why did the person in question call his step dad and why was he at the scene of the crime? The crime scene was compromised at that point. The DA'S office and Greg Mashburn need to take a long look at the surrounding circumstances. At this point I am sorely dissapointed in his actions as an elected official.
