Susan Murphy Milano has been invited to be an instructor for the one day conference presented by the Nevada Public Health Foundation on May 25, 2011. Susan will be instructing on ” Working with Families in Preventing Intimate Partner Violence.”
Established in 1996, Nevada Public Health Foundation (NPHF) has been committed to addressing the gap between growing public health issues and shrinking resources.
Susan Murphy Milano is a nationally recognized expert in the education and prevention of intimate partner violence, as well as the author of her latest book, “Time’s Up: A Guide on How to Leave an Abusive and Stalking Relationship.” The procedures contained in the book are being used across the nation to preserve testimony of victims of abuse and prevent homicides.
Murphy Milano is the host of a popular weekly radio show, The Susan Murphy Milano Show, which highlights the works of other seekers of justice, missing persons, cold cases and true crime authors. She is also a guest and contributor to nationally syndicated The Roth Show and rounds out the team of the Crime Wire Investigative Bureau.
The NPHF Conference will be held at the Tuscany Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada from 8am-4pm PT. Other instructors include Lynette E. Johnson, M.A. and Mark Sandel, LCSW.
