The evening of December 10, 2011, was no different. When he got up in the early morning hour of December 11th, making sure the house was secure, the backdoor was not. Immediately he checked in on all the bedroom doors. His granddaughter, 19 year-old Candice Shields was no where in sight. Nothing in the home was out of place, broken or taken. Grandpa knew something was wrong.
Candice Shields, who lived in Graham, Texas is the mother of a toddler she also is pregnant, expecting her second child.
There is a lot involved with this case. Candice Shields, did not vanish into thin air!

Hey There Everyone: I'm just speculating here... but if Grandpa made a ritual of checking the security of his home each night and nothing was out of place, it sounds like an "inside job" to me... Who,where were her kid's Dad(s) I guess I'll just have to listen.... You bet!

I hope it doesn't take as long to bring Candice home as it did poor little Shonda. I hope our community will pull together to help this family! I said a prayer every night that God would bring Shonda home, and he finally did, prayers do get answered!!!!!! Tonight my prayer is God protect Candice, and the baby, and bring her home safe if possible, if not at least let her family have closure! And God i still pray for Shondas family, and justice for Shonda! Amen, whoever done this horrible thing to Shonda is going to be better off if they would just come forward, and tell there story before someone else tells it for them, same with Candice, maybe it was an accident or something, If nothing else please make an anonymous call, an anonymous note, or something and let this family know where there daughter is!! There couldn't be anything any worse than not knowing where one of your loved ones are! More than likely whoever did this horrible thing to Shonda, and whoever knows anything about Candice has family of there own, put yourself in these familys shoes, and think about it!! What if it where one of your family, you would at least want to know where your loved one was! Praying for all!!
This is a real shame, 2 comments for this young missing mother, and still no search!!!! I thought we had a more caring community than that!!!!!! Still praying for you Candice, and the baby, and your family!
I hope and pray! If you have been harmed, you will be wondered upon by someone soon, so you don't have to lay out there in all these elements like an animal!!!!! I will continue to look everywhere I go, every ditch, culvert, field, bridge, ravine, there's a couple of us that won't give up, and we're working to try to get someone to come in here, and help search for you!!!
