Officer Arrested For Rape Doesn't Smile for the Camera

(Deputy Jason Anthony Bill)

Today, Atlanta Deputy Bill was charged with rape, aggravated sodomy, aggravated assault, kidnapping, false imprisonment and battery.

According to the police report a woman was yanked out of a bar and forcibly taken against her will. She was handcuffed and tied up. The cowardly tin badge Deputy took her to an apartment and sexually assaulted her at gunpoint. She was able to escape, contact police and was treated at a local hospital.

When the arrest was made, Deputy Bill was immediately fired. Cobb County Sheriff Neil Warren released a statement Tuesday that said, "It was with a profound sense of outrage and betrayal that I learned of the actions and subsequent charges lodged against Deputy Jason Bill. This type of conduct is reprehensible under any circumstances but even more so when committed by a law enforcement officer. I have no tolerance for misconduct by anyone sworn to uphold the law and, as a result, have immediately terminated Jason Bill’s employment with the Cobb County Sheriff's Office."

This woman was one of the lucky ones to have been able to escape. Thank God for that and that she was able to identify and turn him in.

Clap, clap for the Cobb County Sheriff for a no nonsense approach to this awful crime.

I hope this woman is able to heal and has the strength and courage to help put this guy away for a long time. What a puke.

Lets say our prayers in hopes this pond scum has to be on his knees in a cell being someone's personal bitch. How do people like this get on the force?

I appauld the victim. She came forth with great courage. The rape is traumtic enough.

The fact that he is an officer of the law and she pressed charges displays a remarkable strength.

Josh-get you head out of the sand buddy. Evidence was collected from the rape. Deputy Bill was fired based on the evidence, not hersay.

Go play in another sandlot.

All you guys are convicting him before you know the facts! ...you where not there to witness this act so hush it! Cobb county failed to say the real reason for him being fired...it wasn't because of this incident or the hearsay...it was because of the alcohol he consumed. I pray for deputy Bill and this long fight he has ahead of him.

This is why we have courts, to weigh the evidence and let the ones who hear it decide. All you other people judging him when I guarantee you don’t know any real facts are just sheep. You blindly follow this dimwitted Blogger over the cliff. I hope you are never falsely accused of something and have a bunch of people, ignorant of the facts, cast amateur opinions about you. If he is guilty the evidence will show, if not then send him an apology letter.
And P.S. Mrs Milano, most people don’t smile when arrested, especially for a potential life sentence for something you didn’t do. You're an imbecile

This officer was wrongfully tried in the media with skewed information and hap-hazard timelines. The majority of you judgemental people that are so quick to throw any accused law enforcement person under the the jail should examine the facts that are available. For example, a document I found on the county web site was the conclusive DNA results which cleared Dep. Jason Bill of sexual intercourse with the ALLEGED victim.
