State of Texas: Failing Grade in the Murder of Daniel Underwood

The State of Texas refuses to re-open and investigate a murder case in which the coroner stamped the death certificate as a suicide when new evidence and other information points to a calculated cold blooded murder.

On September 4, 2008, Daniel Underwood, 33, of Sulfur Springs, TX was murdered during an argument which took place with his live-in-girlfriend, Rebecca Nelson. According to witness Maria Harvick, Rebecca Nelson had her hand on the trigger and the sawed off shotgun went off. The bullet struck Daniel through chin up to his face and his head.

Does the girlfriend Rebecca Nelson immediately render aide to Daniel?

Does the girlfriend Rebecca Nelson immediately call 911?

Does the girlfriend Rebecca Nelson assist Daniel as he is chocking on his own blood?

The answer to all three questions is NO!

Does the girlfriend Rebecca Nelson cover and smear her own arms, face and clothing with Daniel's blood?

Does the girlfriend Rebecca Nelson tell the other person in the room when she pulled the trigger

to tell police Daniel shot his self?

Does the girlfriend Rebecca Nelson instruct the other person in the room to say to the police that she and Daniel were not arguing or in a struggle and that she was not near the gun when it fired?

The answer to all three questions is YES!

The evening of the shooting Rebecca Nelson was interviewed by police. Notice that in the video below she asksed the police for Daniel Underwood's wallet. First, they are not married. Second, the credit cards in Daniel's wallet are in his name only, not hers. He was her sole support. She never even owned a credit card. When she was denied the wallet, Rebecca Nelson asked again and they told her it would be up to his parents to return or work that out. Her tactics, for the momen, fail.

After she left the police station, she returned back to the home, while Daniel was being given his last rites and took everything from a laptop, pool sticks, and other items that could be pawned.

Because the Underwood family is unable to obtain assistance from the Sulphur Springs police department, Texas Rangers or the county, we ask for assistance from the Texas Attorney General's office.

Daniel Underwood did not commit suicide, he was in my opinion, murdered!

Foul Ball in the Missing Persons Case of :Melissa McVay Darling

In Sulfur Springs Texas, Melissa McVay Darling goes missing on June 9, 2011 and comments from the community regarding the mother of 2 are written on a Topix news site implying her life did not matter because of past lifestyle choices.

"That searching for Melissa is a waste of time?" How dare those individuals come onto a public forum, like a neon sign, spreading rumors and gossip when a woman is reported missing.

In the information released by police Melissa was captured on a casino camera and police listed the person in the footage as a person of interest. The FBI is now involved in the case.

There are over 400 comments on the forum discussing the "personal lifestyle choices of Melissa McVay Darling. For God's sake's this is a missing person case!

I grew up with this girl...she has been a junkie since she graduated high school...she has had many run-ins with the law due to her drug use...I know for a fact that at the time of her so-called disapearance she was using again, stealing to support her habit, and had been narc-ing on people. Granted, this is in podunk east Tx and we're not exactly dealing with big time drug lords here but meth makes people pshyco and violent. She maybe finally pissed off the wrong person. Butttttttt...this girl is extremly selfish and thoughtless and she is def. the kind to up and leave so she can go on a binge. What is annoying is tthat the family knows shes a worthless crack head and they are dragging the public into this "search". Dont waste our time...it's obvious how few people showed up to the stupid prayer vigil last week because everyone else knows shes a loser out partying...she'll return and we will never get an apology from her family or her...her kids need to taken away from her. Sorry...I really dont care how rude i am or blahblahblah...

A community immediately labels her life as "not worth it." The real crime; blame, judgement and hate in Proverbs 6:16-19 it reads:

There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

The site administrator of the Sulfur Springs Topix needs to have their head examined for allowing these type of comments on the missing persons story in the first place.

The family and friends of Melissa McVay Darling need help to locate her. She left her hometown of Sulphur Springs, Texas on June 9th, 2011 when she dropped off her youngest daughter at her father’s house and was supposed to talk to her mom the next day. The call never came.

Police have proof that she was last seen in the Choctaw Casino early morning on June 10th with a man. He is now listed in the DPS missing person’s report for her as a “companion/abductor” and has been named a person of interest.

Her truck was found near the Hugo Lake in Oklahoma, locked and with 2 flat tires, but no sign of Melissa. To date, we still do not know where she is or what has happened to her.

She is the mother of two beautiful girls who miss their mommy and who need answers. Someone, somewhere knows what has happened to her and we need to get them talking. We also need to spread the word of her disappearance.
