Sheena Morris: Special Investigation Part 2: Intimate Partner Homicide

The above photo is not from the TMZ site of the stars, but a mug shot taken at a police station while being booked in Pinellas County, Florida on 6/27/2009, at 12:01:17 PM, for domestic battery- 6 months after the death of Sheena Morris.

Two weeks ago the medical examiner's office changed the death certificate of Sheena Morris from a suicide to now "undetermined." That alone is enough for the Bradenton Beach police department to formally request Manatee County Sheriff's office to take over with the new evidence in this case. But, Bradenton Beach Police and the Mayor are giving the family lip service, telling them to "have a lawyer contact them if they wish to discuss their daughters case."

The family has already spend thousands, upon thousands of dollars hiring forensic experts and investigators providing law enforcement with the facts. These very people elected and sworn to uphold the law are now kicking this family seeking justice as if it were disposable garbage. In the meantime, a murderer is allowed to roam free in the community.

According to the forensic reports the "crime scene was staged." I should point out this is a pattern of conduct consist with intimate partner homicide murders.

The report continues :
"Domestic homicide committed by offenders who are criminally inexperienced and who are therefore unaware of the appearance of a genuine crime scene. Their inexperience coupled with the likelihood that they attempted to alter the crime scene while agitated or in a highly emotional state, inhibits their ability to think clearly. As a result, individuals who stage crime scenes often make unintended errors, termed "red flags", that reveal the scene is inconsistent with what is attempted to be demonstrated.

"The case represents a death in which the crime scene was altered to stimulate an intentional suicidal hanging."

Police do not interview the last, and only, person in and at the crime scene for 22 days. He shows up with Sheena's family, it's 80 degree weather, wearing a full length turtleneck, likely covering marks left by Sheena Morris as she was fighting for her life. Is it because of his connection to organized crime that no arrest is made?

The family has fought an uphill battle for the truth. Their daughter was murdered. At the very least, so that someone else is not killed, the Bradenton Beach police department need to refer the case out to Manatee County.

The driver's license of this individual whom, in my opinion , murdered Sheena Morris, lists his address in Indian Rocks, FL. The same area where police cadet Kelly Rothwell went missing on March 12, 2011, after she ended her relationship with David Perry, a former New York correctional officer. Her remains have yet to be located.

Coverage will continue for this case this week on the the nationally syndicated, The Roth Show (www.therothshow.com) on Wednesday, at 7:00 PM Eastern time, 4/20/2011

On the "Time's Up" show (listen here) we discussed the case in greater detail with Kelly Osborn (Sheena's mother); Sol Vocarro (friend of family); and Tom Shamshak (former chief of police and private investigator)

  1. That crossed my mind as well - if he strangled her, there must have been marks on him. Now your comment about the turtleneck puts the pieces together.
The thought about organized crime crossed my mind as well, since it was so odd the family was denied a fair investigation. From seeing photos and interviews with him, it seems that he could be a mob guy, 45 year old loser dating a 22 year old girl.
I truly wish the family finds justice, the sooner the better.
