Two weeks have passed since Irma Rodriguez was found shot gang land style stuffed in the trunk of her car.
No press conference by the Oak Forest Police. No release of Norberto Rodriguez's photo. No talk of a reward. Not one word of where this former Chicago Police officer could be living after he murdered his wife.
On June 9th, family members in fear for their lives filed a court order of protection in Will County, Illinois in case Rodriguez suddenly appears. Perhaps the family can meet with law enforcement and have the case information posted on America's wanted with his description and photo.
I knew Irma for 20 yrs. I am angry and outraged!!! that not one comment has been made regarding her husband's whereabouts..Do they have a lead???Have the police talked to him??? Does anyone know where he is???What is this????,,maybe Drew Peterson knows where Norberto is ??? IRMA AND HER FAMILY NEED JUSTICE!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope Irma Rodriguez's case does not become a Cold Case...please,,someone out there knows something,,,Let's give Irma's memory some dignity..Someone needs to speak up soon!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is tragic what happend to Irma...my condolences go to the kids...I've actuallĂ known Norberto for a few months now and ever since I heard online what happend, I've gotten the creeped out by him...I find it hard to believe that no statement has been released by the police on this...I hope its not another case of the CPD "protecting" one of their own...
ReplyDeleteIrma had no enemies with the exception of the man she married. She did not deserve this. No one deserves to die this way. As a family member, YES, we need justice and her children deserve to know that this man is put away for what he did. I pray and have faith that this will be resolved as evil always come to the light. I am disappointed in the format that things are being handled, maybe she was not important enough to the police, but in our family she was one of the "presidents", she was truly a wonderful person and this was such a tragic loss.
ReplyDeleteI am a family member and am extremely disappointed that the case has gone on deaf ears. I took Irma in the first time when husband tried to kill her and advised her to be strong and continue her life without him, but sometimes fear wins. Unfortunately, my dear niece is not hear. Her keen spirit, those special memories, contagious smile and strength in God will live on in our hearts. I hope other women are reading this article and take seriously their current situation if there is any violence. Get out while there is time!
