TRICIA GRIFFITH

Tricia Griffith

As a child Tricia Griffith and her friends would play "detective," trying to find all the criminals they knew were hiding somewhere in the neighborhood. However, no record exists of them ever finding any, which may be one of the reasons that she, as an adult, now finds satisfaction in co-owning one of the largest true crime forums on the Internet, Websleuths.com

Another of Tricia’s childhood activities -- which consumed a great deal of her time -- was vocalizing into her old reel-to-reel tape recorder (this was just before the days of cassettes). She loved to carry her tape recorder around with her and continuously talk into the microphone, describing various scenes and narrating her actions. Thus the incipient DJ developed her radio skills at an early age. Tricia began her broadcasting career in 1979 and continued working in radio for over 30 years.

In 1997, Tricia ventured onto the Internet for the first time, where she read about the JonBenet Ramsey case. And she’s been hooked on true crime ever since.

In 2004 Tricia acquired Websleuths.com which at the time was a small true crime discussion forum. Today she is co-owner of Websleuths.com And with the help of incredible moderators and loyal members, Websleuths.com is now one of the top true crime discussion forums on the Internet, with a membership of over 30 thousand. www.websleuths.com

Websleuths.com is the go-to place on the Internet for true crime information. Like Suzanne Smalley of Newsweek said in hercolumn May 18th 2010, “Now, when I cover any high-profile crime, I make sure to check out Web Sleuths . . .”

Now Tricia takes true crime discussion to the next logical step: Websleuths Radio. It’s guaranteed that this radio show will be unique and incomparable to any other. Websleuths radio will be lively and filled with true crime information; but be assured that the broadcasts will not allow shouting nor rudeness.

Tricia shares her house with her son, 3 dogs, 11 finches, 8 parakeets, one fish and one snake. In her spare time she sleeps.
