Angel Downs Murder Trial Continues.....

The trial for Stephen Nodine, from Baldwin County,  Alabama, finally began this week .  The commissioner was charged with shooting his former girlfriend to death in her driveway on May 9, 2010.  The 45 yr. old realtor, Angel Downs, was found shot in the head in her front yard in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Neighbors heard shots fired and saw former (very married) boyfriend and elected (now removed) Mobile County Commissioner, Steve Nodine, leaving the scene in his county provided red pickup truck.

I wrote a post for the "Time's Up!" blog titled "Killing with a Borrowed Knife" and many comments were left by "no name cowards" on this particular post, (clearly the defense team)  continuing to discredit the life of Angel Downs by implying she killed herself.  It is common to place blame on a victim of intimate partner homicide or attack the messengers and writers of truth in these cases.  As an example, years after my own decorated veteran detective father murdered my mother in 1989, officers then and today, were and can be heard making comments such as, "she drove him to it" or "I don't believe it, your father was not capable of killing her, he loved your mother."

That is what psychopaths do, according to Sandra L. Brown, M.A., author of "Women Who Love Psychopaths," they are clever at painting for the world with their brand of manufactured self serving lies.  They are dangerous individuals and, yes, capable of killing.

Take a moment to watch the video. It talks about character assisination of victims who have been silenced and, in my opinion, Angel Downs is no longer alive for a reason beyond her control, she was murdered in cold blood.

The trial is expected to continue for a couple of weeks and here are links to follow live trial twitter feeds with News 5 Anchor and Reporter, Jessica Taloney :  http://twitter.com/WKRG_Jessica#
