When a person goes missing without a trace, it’s a nightmare for their loved ones. Time literally stands still; their world suddenly comes to a screeching halt.
For one family, Michael and Faye Taylor of Glenpool, Oklahoma, they would embark on a journey unraveling not only their daughter’s murder, but possibly a 2008 unsolved cold case involving two other murders.
Ashley Celeste Taylor, 23, met Kevin Joe Sweat, 25, sometime in late 2007 or early 2008 in a class at school. When Ashley mentioned to her father that she met someone special he insisted she bring him home to meet the family. Later that afternoon, Kevin was introduced to both Michael and Faye Taylor.
An ardent gun owner and collector, Michael Taylor was cleaning his Glock 22 (.40 cal.) when the 5-feet-10-inch slender-built, clean-cut young man, Kevin Sweat, walked into the kitchen and shook his hand.
