Thirteen Year Old Teaches Us All

Pictured above is thirteen year old Amber Simmons. Amber is no ordinary. Her life was abruptly interrupted on March 13, 2008.
She is the daughter of Rachel Conger who was abducted by her estranged husband Paul. You see Rachel was finally leaving her abusive life. She returned to the marital home for some final items before embarking on her journey to a life without abuse.
In a tragic twist of events, her estranged husband Paul was found three days later with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. Prior to the coward committing suicide, he likely murdered Rachel Conger, his wife of ten years.
Now, her daughter Amber works day and night to find her mother. She has held fundraisers, created and passed out flyers, why she even put together an event for September 6, 2008, where some 2,000 people are expected to attend Paris, TN. Amber has t-shirt's for purchase and a web site to bring her mother home.
While most kids spent their summer with their parent(s) going on vacation, planning for the new school year or just hanging out together, Amber Simmons raised money to pay for professional search teams to comb the area where her mother was taken by Paul Conger.
"Rachel Conger is a thirty year old mother who was abducted from her home by her estranged husband in Como, TN, on 3/13/2008. Paul Conger was found deceased from a self inflicted gunshot wound on March 16, 2008.

Georgia Deputy "Yellow" Yancey

"Cowardly Tin Badge Georgia Deputy" Derrick Yancey
In June if this year, Linda Yancey and a day laborer named Marcial Caz-Puluc were found shot to death in the home of Deputy Yancey. Yancey claimed that the day laborer shot his wife Linda and he then shot him.
From the beginning this wreaked of a set-up. Yancey was angry that Linda wanted a divorce from her controlling abusive husband. According to sources "no way" was Yancey going to "allow" his wife to "take half of anything."
Yancey thought of a fairly good plan. He found a man who could not speak english and had no family. He hired the day laborer to do landscaping around the house, his wife would be home. It was almost the perfect crime. He lured the man into the house after killing his wife, then he killed Caz-Puluc.
Deputy Yancey's story-"he killed my wife and I shot him". Neither Yancey's story nor the crime scene held up. It fell apart and he was indicted on two counts of murder.
Now there is another issue, Deputy "Yellow" Yancey worked for eleven in the very same court house where he will be tried. Under the circumstances, Yancey's case needs to be moved to a different courthouse.
This tin badge coward was unable to walk away and settle personal and financial issue's with his wife Linda Yancey, like a man.

The Fact Remains: Drew Peterson is the Only Suspect

The camp fire roasters have pulled yet, another rabbit from their hats. Peterson's group now claims Stacy left the house while Drew was sleeping. Problem with this garbage is the time line does not add up. Stacy spoke to her sister's boyfriend approximately 35 minutes prior to her death. When the neighbor called the house that morning Peterson's son Christopher told the woman Drew and Stacy were fighting and to call back.
And how does the legal roaster explain the two visits to attorney Harry Smith that very week? The same lawyer that Katheen Savio used in her divorce. Stacy spoke with the lawyer how to leave Drew and take the children with her. Is the legal roaster going to place blame somehow on this laywer? Did he secretly hide Stacy? Now there's a story.
Stacy also was trying to secure a rental property for she and the kids from a relative that very week. She had quickly made numerous plans to get out with her life.
Once again the spin doctor of make believe sprinking words like magical fairy dust, landing on page twelve of the Chicago SunTime's.

Justice Interrupted in Officer's Wife's Death

Tera Chavez
When the news story first came out it stated Tera Chavez had committed suicide. What those who were involved in this cover-up did not know, Tera had been in contact with State of Arizona Invetigators.
In a bold move, Tera's death was ruled a homicide. Lawwyers for the family hired attorney Brad Hall and filed a lawsuit against the police department for tampering with a crime scene, destroying evidence and interfering with another departments investigation out of their jurisdiction.

"Another Bloody Mess"

Jennifer Vordermann, Edgerton, Wisconsin (pictured above)
Edgerton Wisconsin, is a former tobacco town located just off the Rock River, population 4,364.
It was not suppose to happen this way. A young couple in the prime of their lives, dated for five years before marrying ten months ago.
Jennifer Vordermann wad found murdered in her home. Her husband Shaun discovered by the Edgerton Police in the house a few feet away, also dead.
Shaun killed Jennifer, before taking his own life.
Jennifer's family is now demanding answers as to why help was not made available sooner to the distraught husband. His behavior since the couple's marriage became violent and bizarre. Shaun Vordermann had the classic symptons of a jekel and hyde personality. A sweet wonderful young man who changed once the couple married.
As in most abusive and dangerous relationships Shaun called Jennifer over and over when she was away, demanding to know where she was every minute.
He stalked her at work and most outside activites with childhood friends.
According to the Janesville Gazette, the family was concerned after Shaun bought a gun a few months ago, even though he'd never gone hunting.
The situation reached a head last week, when police were called twice to the Vordermann home.
On Wednesday, Shaun sent text messages to everyone in Jennifer's cell phone list through their home computer pretending to be Jennifer and saying "I need help; call me," said a family member.
When family members couldn't get through to Jennifer on her phone, they called the police. The Edgerton police log entry for the incident reads "Subject located; all OK."
Saturday night, Jennifer called police because she had received hundreds of text messages from Shaun over the afternoon, and she was afraid he would hurt himself, Ellingson said. Police arrived at 10:50 p.m. and took Shaun to the Rock County Crisis Intervention Center.
He was released later that night.
"They kept him for 35 minutes (for an evaluation). Family members are asking 'How do you do an assessment in 35 minutes?'"
No one knows exactly what happened Saturday and Sunday, but here's what Jennifer's family have pieced together:
As police were taking Shaun away, they told Jennifer to get rid of Shaun's gun. She hid it in the trunk of her car.
When Shaun returned Sunday, Jennifer told him she was moving out. He got in her car—the one with the gun in it—saying he was going to spend the night at his mother's house.
A dangerous move for anyone involved in a violent relationship is when you give the WARNING "I am leaving, going, moving, seeing a lawyer", never tell someone who is angry, violent and threatening your plans. Prepare as best you can and get the heck out of the way, far away.
Bad idea once you have left to call and apologize to the person for leaving.
Once you are gone remain on your guard continue to look after your safety. Do not return to the residence by yourself to gather anything, unless you have an army helping you. If you want additional directions send an email to contact@movingoutmovingon.com

Precious Angel's Not Likely To Be Found

The world embraces a little girl who will probably never be found. Perhaps, the same fate was also met by Tenton Duckett, a Florida toddler who disappeared under "mysterious circumstances," in August of 2006.
What is disturbing about Caylee's case is the initial 911 calls and Grandma's description of the smell in the back of her daughters car, the "smell of death" according to the woman's words. And the lies well seasoned with continued deception by Grandma, Grandpa and the child's mother.
Is there a black market underground for beautiful children sold to others countries, yes. Could Caylee Anthony have been sold to such a group? The answer is no. And, what about Trenton Duckett is he still alive someplace? Did his mother sell the boy for money? The answer is open for discussion and futher investigation.
As we remember a child only known to us through video's and photograph's, lets not forget those other children who never make the news. They will never celebrate another birthday. And let's remember to ask ...Where is Trenton Duckett?

New Global Eye in Illinois

The law takes goes into effect on January 1, 2009. It provides a judge with an additional tool when a person violates an active order of protection. The courts can order a GPS tracking device for offenders who continue to ignore a court order of protection.
The family of Cindy Bischof, her brother Michael spearheaded this groundbreaking law.
Having said that, there are a few legitimate concerns regarding the new tracking system. And this is based on current felony cases where parolees are on the GPS bracelet.
If the Illinois Department of Corrections will be monitoring the bracelets under this new law, the monitoring officer, agents, etc, need training in the area of stalking and domestic violence.
If I were to give a grade based on monitoring performance of a GPS device within the past two years , Illinois would not pass.
The monitoring of a GPS device for offenders is at the discretion of their parole agent. If a person on this system is given "good time" for a night out the "excluded zones" may not be counted. The person(s) who monitors the device does not see family violence as a serious issue and they have shown to be less than cooperate when there is a violation. Under no circumstances should an offender with this device be allowed "good time" especially if they are released from a State penitentiary.
Any law is only as good as it's enforcement. Unless those involved understand the dynamics that must be incorporated with the GPS monitoring system, you will have more of the same, a very bloody road.

Nicole DeYoung: Justice Interrupted in Will County

were murdered. A young boy also in the duplex was hiding and he was not harmed.
"We followed up on every lead that has come into this police department. We've chased down leads," Chief Richard Stulz told NBC5. "I believe we've done everything we could up to this point."
Steger is a small police department and at the time of the murders they were distracted, using resources to prosecute another case -- against their own, Sgt. Scott Osantowski, who was later cleared.
Had Steger police properly investigated this case they would know that the only person who had a key to the residence was Nicole's former boyfriend. He was angry over the couples break-up. And livid when Nichole began a new relationship.
According to witnesses prior to her death, he swore he would kill her.
He is the only one who knew the layout of the house. He knew her mother lived next door and had a short window of time to get in and out of the house.
This is a case that could have easily been solved. But justice was interrupted because of police negligence.
In Will County, there are other numerous cases where justice continue's to be interrupted.
I realize law enforcement and the state's attorney's office are overwhelmed with domestic violence, stalking, unsolved homicides and other family violence related crimes.
But, the crime is when you are paid to do a job and fail. Placing a band-aid over a boo-boo does not stop the bleeding. Steger Police failed the family. Proper investigation and prosecution of this and other cases is what is lacking in Will County.
This is a cold case, but the trail is still, very warm.
Perhaps the Illinois State Police will step in to re-open the case. Before this man murders someone else's "Mommy" or Daddy.
