It is being reported that the housing crunch is now increasing the number of calls for help to battered women's agency hotlines. Callers are pointing to the fact that theyare in the midst of loosing their family homes and their spouse or boyfriend is more abuse and realting to the mounting financial problems. Hogwash!! No one uses violence and points to a crisis as the explaination for their criminal behavior. These cowards abuse because they can get away with it behind closed doors. Do not allow yourself to be a punching bag.
If you are in an abusive relationship, now is the time for you to prepare a course of action and safely remove you and or your children from that abusive environment. No he will not change once things get better and the market turns around. It will never "GET" better. You need to stop making excuses and understand you have the right to live your life minus abuse.
